Indian Uyghur Society President Wasim Abdullah and General Secretary Talat Feroz had the profound honor of meeting with Former Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay attending an insightful policy discussion at the Observer Research Foundation.
Following these engagements, the IUS delegation was graciously received for a special personal audience with His Excellency.
During our high-level consultations, we raised pressing humanitarian concerns—specifically advocating for the welfare and legal resolution of three Uyghur individuals currently held in Karnal Jail. We sought vital strategic insights and legislative outreach channels to strengthen our advocacy networks moving forward.
We return deeply inspired, equipped with invaluable guidance on taking our institutional mission forward head-on and standing strong for human rights, justice, and cross-movement solidarity.
